About Kathy
Hello,
I am able to tutor Mandarin from GCSE to A-level, I am familia with the syllabus and have worked with students from all age groups. I have personally studied in China for 5+ years and have been volunteering as a teacher at a local Chinese school, this makes me comfortable and confident in helping you or your child succeed in learning the language Chinese.
I have studied maths and physics at A-level and have achieved rewarding grades. I have experience in teaching these two subjects and have knowledge of what exam boards are looking for.
My personal teaching style is to practice with my students through practice questions according to the level of each student levels, I aim to find knowledge gaps and ensure students understand the topics fully by going through the topic and consolidating the knowledge through practice questions. I will walk through and explain in detail using example questions and challenge my students with similar questions afterwards.
Finally I am extremely responsible and very motivated as a tutor, I am friendly and work well with children, I always try my best to make students comfortable in lessons and ensure they leave the lesson with greater confidence and understanding of the subject.
