About Katherine
I am a teacher and tutor of Maths, Biology and Chemistry, up to A level standard, of many years' experience. I am semi-retired from a Sixth Form College and enjoy one-to-one teaching and tutoring as it is rewarding seeing students progress. I enjoy running and walking my two gorgeous puppies of nearly a year old. I also enjoy growing plants on my allotment.

My tutees make vast strides in their progress and find enjoyment in Maths. They frequently are surprised how fast the hour goes. My method of teaching matches the student's individual needs. The pace of the lessons also matches the student's requirements. I find boosting the student's confidence is fundamental to making this progress and students will always be working at their correct level. It is the 'couch to 5K' approach. Before they know it, they are doing challenging maths.
