About Kathryne

I love teaching. From tutoring my son and his friends through their GCSEs I decided to offer tutoring online. I have a proven track record in teaching GCSE.. many students achieving grade 9. I understand that each student has a different learning style and there isn't a one size fits all!

About the lesson

I am an approachable, friendly teacher from the North East. I focus on making complex topics clear, engaging and easy to understand ensuring each student is equipped to apply the critical techniques needed to ensure exam success in computer science! I am an OCR examiner for GCSE, AS and A level. I have worked in Local authority schools for nearly 20 years enabling me to work with students from a range of background and SEND needs. My main goal is to build confidence in students subject knowledge by breaking down challenging concepts into manageable steps whilst also encouraging problem solving and independent thinking. (£28 for GCSE £32 for A Level)
