About Josephine
I have tutored and taught for nearly twenty years and I really love the subjects I tutor. I have taught or tutored all the major exam boards. I have also been an examiner for 20years and for the last 8 years a senior examiner. I don't like teaching just to a specification as that doesn't give students the depth of knowledge they require. My aim is to get students to uni or whatever their next goal is so I also help students with revision techniques, personal statements and interviews for jobs/ uni.

I like to make my lessons as engaging as possible so students develop an enthusiasm for Psychology and Sociology. So tutoring is always led by what the students want to focus on. Exam technique is also another really important part of my lessons. I have lots of experience with examining and its heartbreaking to read answers that demonstrate knowledge but they haven't answered the question!
