About Helmi
For over 16 years I have taught English as a Second Language to students ages 5 to 75, from complete beginners to business people working on their interview skills. I'm interested in other cultures--I've lived and worked in South America, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East. Licensed to teach French and Spanish in Colorado (license has since expired). Currently TESOL certified (130 hour course from Trinity College London).

I love to use videos tailored to your interests for listening comprehension or as a jumping off point for an essay. I focus on communication rather than errors. I love word games, role play, and sharing English slang expressions.
