About the lesson

I am very patient and will try my upmost to solve student difficulties. Tutoring mainly humanities subjects- History, Music, English, but can tutor Maths up to Key Stage 3 confidently.

The importance of good tuition is something which I feel wholly responsible for whilst tutoring, thus I put maximum effort into class preparation and background knowledge.

I am currently studying music at Manchester University and hope to go into music teaching once leaving.

Previous tutoring experience includes volunteer work with young children in music making, alongside private violin tuition work. I am hoping to transfer these skills into academic tuition, using the patience gained from these previous experiences.

Having been taught by a number of private music teachers in violin studies throughout my life so far, I can tell what makes a good teacher and thus hope to reflect this in my own tutoring.

A-Level qualifications in History (A*), Music (A) and Art (B), plus GCSE grades A-A*.

I am able to teach English up to GCSE, History at all levels up to A-Level, Music at all levels up to A-Level, Music Theory up to grade 6, Maths at Key Stage 1-3 and Art at all levels.
