About Beth
I'm a Pennsylvania state certified teacher for K-6 grade levels, and have over a decade of classroom teaching experience. I am a full-time tutor and thrive in one-on-one and small group teaching settings, like a tutoring session. I love seeing students progress in their reading skills, and parents have always been satisfied. I have 5 star ratings on Google through my business, Progress Tutoring.

About the lesson

The first official lesson you book with me will be a letter/sound, decodable word, and sight word assessment. Your K-6 grade student will also get to read a book they choose at their current or target grade level.
When your child's level is confirmed, each session will be phonics focused and entail reading, writing, speaking and listening.
Using screen share, interactive Google slides, and high interest books, your K-6 student will be engaged throughout the 30 minutes to 1-hour sessions.
I work with struggling readers, those with ADHD, dyslexia, and autism. Through consistent, regular tutoring sessions, student motivation and tutor effort, your student will grow their reading levels with me.
