About Tony
Hi there! I’m Dr. Tony, a veterinarian with a lifelong passion for science, math, and helping students succeed. Before diving into the world of animal medicine, I spent years tutoring students from elementary school through high school in math, science, and SAT/ACT prep and I loved every minute of it. I know that learning can feel overwhelming sometimes, especially when you're juggling school, tests, and everything else life throws at you. That’s where I come in. My goal is to make learning clear, approachable, and enjoyable. I break down complex ideas into easy-to-understand steps and use real-world examples (often from medicine and biology) to help things click. I’ve worked with students of all levels, from those struggling to pass a class to those aiming for top test scores. I tailor every lesson to fit your learning style, pace, and goals. Whether you're prepping for a big exam, trying to boost your grades, or just need someone to explain things in a way that finally makes sense. As a veterinarian, I’m detail-oriented, patient, and always professional, but I also bring energy, creativity, and encouragement to every session. I’m here to help you feel confident, stay motivated, and realize what you’re capable of achieving. Let’s make learning less stressful and a lot more successful. I look forward to working with you!

As a veterinarian with a strong background in math and science, I bring both subject expertise and real world relevance to my tutoring. Before veterinary school, I tutored students from elementary to high school in subjects including math, biology, chemistry, and SAT/ACT prep. I tailor my teaching to each student’s learning style, using visuals, real life examples, and step-by-step breakdowns to simplify complex topics and build confidence.
A typical lesson begins with a quick review of previous material, followed by a focused lesson on the current topic. I incorporate guided practice, problem-solving strategies, and time for questions and recap at the end. For test prep students, I also teach pacing, elimination strategies, and practice with real exam questions.
What sets me apart is my ability to connect academic content to real life applications from my veterinary training, which often helps students better understand and retain difficult material. I’m also a supportive, patient mentor who encourages students to think critically and take ownership of their learning.
I work with students from upper elementary through high school, including those preparing for standardized tests, struggling with STEM subjects, or looking to get ahead. Whether the goal is improving grades, boosting test scores, or gaining confidence, I offer personalized, engaging support every step of the way.
