About Victoria

I’m Dr Victoria — a lecturer, published author, and public speaking specialist working at the intersection of theology, culture, and communication. My teaching brings together academic depth with practical confidence-building, supporting both students and professionals who want to think clearly and speak with presence.

Alongside my work in higher education, I coach individuals who want to strengthen their voice — whether for presentations, interviews, leadership roles, or academic work. My approach is thoughtful, grounded, and tailored to each person, helping you develop clarity without losing authenticity.

I believe learning should be transformative, not just informative. Whether we are exploring theology, visual culture, or communication skills, sessions are designed to build both understanding and confidence.

About the lesson

Sessions are reflective, structured, and supportive, creating space for both intellectual growth and practical skill development.

For academic subjects, I support:

• essay writing and critical thinking
• interpreting complex theological and cultural texts
• interdisciplinary learning across faith, media, and society

For public speaking and communication coaching, we focus on:

• managing nerves and building grounded presence
• structuring ideas clearly and confidently
• storytelling and audience connection
• verbal delivery, pacing, and body language

My work draws on a presence-based communication approach, helping you speak in a way that feels natural, clear, and authentic — rather than scripted or performative.

Rates:
• Theology and humanities tutoring — £40 per hour
• Public speaking and communication coaching — £50 per hour

Structured speaking pathways (3 or 6 sessions) are also available for those looking for more sustained development and confidence-building.

The public speaking sessions are more like coaching than tutoring, so we work quite closely on confidence, delivery, and communication style. The slightly higher rate reflects the tailored, one-to-one nature of that work.
