• Tell us more about your subject. How did you develop an interest in this field?

  Animation, Graphic Design, and Video editing play a very important role in the industry today. Every field is using them in 1 way or the other. when I was a kid, I used to wonder if the characters in cartoons were real but I was told that they are characters animated using a method called animation by giving the characters and object life. so I wanted to learn how it was created and got an interest in this field.

• What or who is the motivation behind you choosing to teach & why?

  When I was a kid I used to watch and wonder how cartoons like Tom and Jerry, Pink Panther, Popayee the Sailor man, etc., are created. So when I learnt how it was done, I wanted to show the children and adults how it was created. and I wondered if there will be many kids like me who wonder how it was done, and as I know how it is created I can teach them and they can create their own animations and video editing.

• How does your work help society?

  Teaching animation to children and adults nurtures creativity, enriches education, helps in communication, improves one's skills, and gives a chance for employment prospects, etc. It is a very valuable skill set that can bring positive transformations to Children and adults.

• If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?

  My role model was Walt Disney, I got keen on animation because of cartoons like MickeyMouse, etc. and he made Disney a global entertainment. That is loved by all age levels from Kids to Adults.

• Tell us about your hobbies outside teaching.

  My hobbies are dancing and watching movies.

• Do you have an anecdote to tell us about your student or professional life?

  One student of mine was very interested in learning animation, and she made sure she completed her assignments and attended all the classes. now she creates her own animation and is also teaching a few children the basics of animation.
