About Jayshree

My philosophy is centred on making yoga accessible to everyone. Yoga is my happy place — it helps me stay calm, grounded, and balanced, while providing a gentle yet effective approach to fitness and wellbeing. It offers a welcome contrast to the fast-paced corporate world I navigate every day and challenges me in ways that are very different from the cardio-based activities I also enjoy.

After practising yoga regularly for five years, I took the plunge and completed my 200-hour teacher training with Yoga London and 50-hours Yin Yoga with Bernie Clarke. Since then, my yoga journey has exceeded every expectation. It has been deeply fulfilling physically, spiritually, and emotionally, while helping me keep perspective and balance in my life. Yoga continues to be a daily practice and an ongoing learning experience for me.

The process of working towards correct postures, developing effective breathing techniques, and ultimately finding calmness of mind has been just as rewarding as achieving the goals I set for myself when I first began. One of the things I enjoy most is sharing that knowledge with others and supporting them on their own journeys towards greater confidence, strength, and wellbeing.

The rest is part of my ongoing journey.

About the lesson

Based in London, I teach in gyms, online, offices, parks, and homes, creating classes that feel warm, welcoming, and grounded. I believe yoga is for everybody, and I especially enjoy introducing the practice to beginners, as well as advanced yogis. My goal is to ensure that every student feels confident, comfortable, and supported while learning.

You can expect fun, challenging, and varied flows, balanced with moments of focus, calm, and quiet on your mat.
