About Margaret
I am a violin tutor with 8 years of experience and a Master of Music in Violin Performance. My passion for music started at a young age and gradually developed into a rewarding career where I could inspire others through teaching.
I enjoy working with learners of all ages and abilities. My teaching approach combines clear explanations, patient guidance, and structured practice that helps students overcome challenges while building confidence. Every lesson is adapted to support individual learning styles and musical goals.
Outside teaching, I enjoy performing chamber music, exploring classical repertoire, and attending live concerts. These experiences continue to inspire my teaching and allow me to share practical musical knowledge with every student.

My violin lessons are designed to help students enjoy every stage of learning while developing reliable technique and musical confidence. We begin with correct posture, bow hold, left-hand positioning, rhythm practice, and tone production through easy and structured exercises. I explain every movement in simple English and demonstrate techniques clearly so students understand how each skill contributes to better playing. Every lesson encourages patience, careful listening, and consistent improvement in a relaxed environment.
As students become more confident, we work on scales, shifting, vibrato, intonation, bow distribution, articulation, sight reading, and expressive phrasing. I also include ear training, performance preparation, and musical interpretation to help learners become complete musicians. Practice plans are customized to match each student's goals, allowing steady progress without unnecessary pressure.
My aim is to help every learner enjoy playing the violin with confidence and musical understanding. Lessons build technical strength, expressive ability, and lasting motivation while encouraging students to appreciate the beauty of music throughout their learning journey.
