About Celia
I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Violin Performance and have been teaching for 6 years. My love for the violin developed through years of study, performance, and personal exploration of music’s expressive possibilities. Teaching gives me the opportunity to help students discover their own confidence and enjoyment through the instrument.
My teaching style combines traditional technical foundations with creative learning approaches. I help students improve intonation, rhythm accuracy, bowing technique, and musical interpretation while encouraging individual expression. Every lesson is adapted to support the learner’s goals and comfort level.
Beyond teaching, I enjoy chamber music, performance preparation, and studying different approaches to violin education. These interests help keep my lessons engaging and effective. I believe music should feel rewarding and inspiring, and I work to help every student experience that feeling through their violin journey.

My violin lessons are designed for students who want to build confidence, strengthen technique, and enjoy music with less stress. We focus on tone development, bow control, posture, open-string exercises, scale work, and performance preparation through patient and structured guidance. Lessons are welcoming and supportive, making it easier for learners to reconnect with music at their own pace.
I include confidence-building activities such as slow scale meditation, focused listening, mental preparation techniques, and careful review of foundational skills. Students who have experienced long breaks, performance nerves, or uncertainty receive encouragement and practical strategies that help rebuild motivation steadily. Progress is measured through consistency rather than pressure.
As skills improve, students gain stronger control, musical expression, and self-belief. My lessons aim to create a positive experience where learners feel comfortable taking musical risks and exploring new challenges. Every step forward is celebrated and supported with patience and care.
