About ELVINA
I am a passionate violinist and a graduate student with a rich musical background. I graduated from a music school in Azerbaijan, a place where music is deeply ingrained in the culture. Alongside my Bachelor's degree in Political Science from UCI, I continue to pursue my music career because it's my true passion. I've had the privilege of performing in various parts of the world, including Vienna, Italy, Turkey, New York, and Los Angeles. I take pride in my college orchestra experience, where I played as the first violin. Additionally, I have been a soloist in chamber and symphonic orchestra concerts. With proficiency in Russian, English, Turkish, and Azerbaijani, I can offer lessons in these languages.

In my violin lessons, I offer a personalized approach, tailoring my teaching to match each student's unique learning style and skill level. I use a mix of traditional and modern teaching methods to make learning engaging and effective.
A typical lesson begins with warm-up exercises and scale practice, gradually moving into exploring different musical styles and techniques. What sets me apart as a tutor is my extensive concert experience. I have achieved notable success as a competition winner, securing first place at the Florida Key International Music Competitions at Carnegie Hall. I've also served as a soloist with orchestras, providing valuable performance insights to my students.
My lessons are open to students of all levels and ages, providing a supportive environment for growth and artistic development. Join me on your journey to unlock your violin-playing potential!
