About Ruby
I have 8 years of experience teaching violin and hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Classical String Performance. During my teaching career, I have guided students through various stages of development, helping them improve technique while discovering their unique musical voice.
My teaching style focuses on encouragement, attention to detail, and individualized instruction. I enjoy helping students transform challenges into opportunities for growth. Lessons are adapted to suit each learner’s pace, goals, and musical interests.
Outside teaching, I enjoy chamber music, orchestral performance, and studying historical violin repertoire. These experiences deepen my understanding of music and enrich my lessons. I look forward to helping students develop confidence, artistry, and a lifelong appreciation for violin playing.

My violin lessons are designed to help students develop strong technical foundations while nurturing musical expression and confidence. We focus on intonation, bow technique, rhythm accuracy, posture, tone production, sight reading, and interpretive skills. Lessons are structured to provide clear progression and help students build reliable performance habits.
I include scales, technical studies, repertoire development, listening exercises, musical analysis, and performance preparation as part of the learning process. Students receive personalized guidance that helps them strengthen weaknesses while developing greater confidence in their abilities. Every activity is selected to support long-term musical growth.
Each lesson encourages patience, consistency, and self-belief. I create a supportive atmosphere where students can learn comfortably and challenge themselves without fear of mistakes. My goal is to help learners become expressive violinists who enjoy both the technical and artistic sides of music.
