About Vanessa

I took violin lessons for over 10 years and followed this in a semi-professional way for many years. I gained experience in many different orchestras, which often consisted of professional musicians and ambitious amateurs (Junge Sinfonie Berlin, Horb Chamber Orchestra, Residence Orchestra Baden-Württemberg, Junge Philharmonie Rottenburg). Later I started training as a dancer, which greatly enriched my spectrum as an artist.

About the lesson

I design my lessons for children and teenagers using the Suzuki method. I learned this method myself and I appreciate it because it is very child-friendly and therefore also suitable for children from three to four years. According to the mother tongue method, children learn how to learn without playing notes first. The focus is on training the ear, concentrating on the rhythm and intonation, holding the violin, the sequence of movements while playing, the sound and the expression. Due to my training as a dancer, I also attach great importance to correct posture and the internalization of rhythm and musicality through playful movement. For advanced students, the focus is on learning concerts or sonatas, whereby technical exercises (scales, etudes for position play, finger and bow technique) are always taught in parallel. I am also happy to offer one-to-one lessons for ambitious music amateurs to prepare heavy orchestral scores. The focus is on conveying joy and passion for the instrument. In addition to learning the instrument, it is important to me to teach students about concentration, memory, regularity in the form of exercises and attention through learning together in a playful way.

Perfect! Super! Der Online Unterricht ist wirklich gut. Vanessa ist sehr geduldig und passt sich meinem Lerntempo an. Ich hab eigentlich nie ein Instrument gespielt und alles von Null gelernt. Mit Vanessa als Lehrerin ist es wirklich einfach :) Kann ich nur empfehlen!

Ich bin 37 und wollte schon immer Geige lernen. Letztes Jahr im Oktober hab ich dann ganz spontan beschlossen anzufangen (jetzt oder NEVER ). Dank Superprof hab ich Vanessa gefunden. Ihr Profil hat mir total gut gefallen, vor allem weil sie Musik und Bewegung verbindet und Klassik, Jazz und Improvisation zusammenbringt.
Ich hab kein konkretes Ziel für die Zukunft mit der Geige, aber irgendwie hat es mich Richtung Jazz und Improvisation gezogen – ein Genre, das ich sowieso mega gerne mag und das sie richtig gut beherrscht.
