About Rojin
I'm a dedicated violinist with over 15 years of experience, including performances with the prestigious Rasane Honar Symphony Orchestra. This journey has honed my technical skills, deepened my love for classical music, and taught me the value of discipline and collaboration; qualities I now share with every student. Whether teaching children their first notes or helping intermediates master expressive phrasing, I create a supportive space where progress feels achievable and fun. Professionalism matters to me: lessons start and end on time, with clear goals, tailored feedback, and resources to practice confidently at home. Based in Edmonton, I offer both in-person and online sessions to fit your schedule. (I teach in English and also Persian.)

I have over 15 years of violin experience and have performed classical repertoire as a member of the Rasane Honar Symphony Orchestra. Playing in an orchestra taught me technical precision, musical expression, discipline, and collaboration; skills that shape the way lessons are structured and taught. My teaching is student-centered and goal-oriented. In a typical lesson, we start with short warm-ups and technique (bow hold, intonation, posture), then move to pieces that match your level, and finish with fun musical activities such as simple duets or rhythm games. For younger students, I often use songs they already know to keep them engaged; for adults, we set clear short-term goals so progress feels visible and motivating. What sets me apart is a calm, encouraging approach and the ability to explain concepts in multiple ways until they “click.” I combine classical foundations with modern, up-to-date methods and resources (backing tracks, recordings, apps) so you can practice effectively between lessons and build real confidence on your instrument.
