About Celeste
Developing tone production and orchestral playing requires focus on intonation and tuning by ear. I integrate ear training with shifting positions to ensure you play with confidence. Developing left-hand agility and bowing technique defines my practice.
Rhythm and timing are vital components for grade exam prep including ABRSM and Trinity. Over 13 years of teaching, I have found that clarity in these fundamentals makes the violin incredibly rewarding to play. My method is simple.

A clean bow stroke across the strings creates a rich resonance that fills the room immediately. Because I hold an MMus from the Curtis Institute of Music, I emphasize the connection between physical movement and the resulting sound.
We analyze your posture to ensure long term comfort during complex passages. I maintain a calm environment where feedback is provided in real time to correct technical errors.
7 lessons later, you will hear a distinct difference in your intonation and phrasing. This methodical approach helps you move from the practice room to the stage with composure. I look forward to guiding your progress as you develop into a stage ready violinist.
