About Juno
I am a software engineer with a deep passion for music. I have been learning the violin since sixth grade, and over the years, my interest and love for the instrument have continued to grow.
During my own learning journey, I realized that there were certain fundamentals and techniques I could have focused on earlier, which would have helped me progress more effectively. These experiences inspired me to start teaching violin, so that I can guide my students with the lessons I have learned along the way and help them build a strong foundation from the beginning.
I currently focus on Western violin and am preparing for the Trinity Grade 3 violin certification. My aim as a teacher is to make violin learning structured, enjoyable, and easier to understand, especially for beginners.
Feel free to book a free demo class and experience my teaching approach. You can decide to continue only if you feel the classes are right for you—no pressure!
You can also check out my violin performance video through the YouTube link attached to my profile to get a better idea of my playing. The performance is completely raw and unedited, with no audio enhancements or sound processing—just my natural violin playing.

I believe learning the violin should be enjoyable and not overwhelming, especially when you are just starting out.
For beginners, I follow the String Builder series by Samuel Applebaum, which provides a structured and gradual approach to learning the violin. We will start with the basics of reading musical notation and slowly introduce concepts such as note values, rhythm, time signatures, key signatures, scales, and more.
Okay, that probably sounds like a lot of musical jargon! Don't worry—you don't need to know any of it before you start. We will learn each concept gradually through the lessons, and within your first 24 classes, you should already have a much better understanding of how music works and how to read and play it.
More importantly, our main focus will always be on building strong fundamentals—holding the violin and bow correctly, developing good bow control, producing a clear sound, understanding rhythm, reading music, playing scales, and gradually moving on to songs and pieces.
I also want my students to understand what they are playing rather than simply memorising where to place their fingers.
Every student learns differently, so I adjust my lessons according to your progress, comfort level, and interests. My aim is to help you build a strong foundation, gain confidence, and most importantly, enjoy your journey with the violin.
