About Kimberly
I have been teaching children for 3 years. - I come to your location and help you set up your music stand with the necessary sheet music, that children are learning from class. - I have 6 elementary children from the LAUSD city school district. - I enjoy meeting the kids and I let them play on the strings to get a further understanding of their playing skills. This is during the first visit. I also help them play the music scales, during the first visit.

I am a dedicated and supportive musician. I have played in state competition while growing up, and would win first place with my youth orchestra. Considering, I enjoy meeting young, inspiring kids to help them learn the basics of the four strings on the violin, I would be able to help your child listen and read sheet music on the staff, and play a few melodies by ear. Bowing technique is very important. How you administer your bowing with each quarter note, and half note, can fill up the sound and keeping a steady, acute sound, while playing each note on the sheet music. If your child needs to learn the notes, I would suggest adding dots or string tape to the fingerboard. This helps give an accurate finger position. My Goal: is to help further your child's learning during my visit and help them experience a less complicated way to rehearse the sheet music that his/her teacher has given them to prepare for their classroom. - I am available for students who are nice, open to learn, punctual and ready to explore violin music. I can teach from "Twinkle-Twinkle" and "Jingle Bells" (Seasonal) all the way to: J.S. Bach, Hyden, Mozart, and Beethoven, 9th Symphony, "Ode to Joy". - I am available Evenings, and Saturdays.
