About Lillian
My passion for violin started from attending orchestral concerts and exploring classical music from an early age. I completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Music before earning a Master’s Degree in String Performance Studies. Over the last 8 years, I have helped students improve musical ability through supportive teaching and structured practice methods.
I enjoy adapting lessons for different personalities, confidence levels, and musical goals. Some students improve through technical repetition and focused exercises, while others respond better to expressive interpretation and listening activities. My teaching style focuses on patience, encouragement, and balanced musical development.
Outside teaching, I enjoy chamber performance, studying violin repertoire, and exploring modern arrangements for strings. Staying active in music helps me bring fresh ideas into lessons. Teaching violin is rewarding because I enjoy helping students discover confidence and emotional expression through music.

My violin lessons focus on helping students improve technique while developing a calm and expressive connection with music. I teach bow movement, finger placement, posture, rhythm control, intonation, vibrato, and phrasing through practical exercises that make learning structured and approachable. Lessons are supportive, patient, and designed to encourage steady musical growth.
Beginners strengthen their foundations through open string work, rhythm exercises, and simple melodies that gradually improve coordination and tone quality. Intermediate learners develop stronger bow consistency, finger accuracy, and musical interpretation through guided repertoire and technical practice. Advanced students focus on expressive performance, advanced techniques, and stage confidence through detailed musical preparation.
I encourage students to enjoy music naturally instead of becoming stressed by perfection. Lessons support creativity, confidence, and personal expression while helping learners improve comfortably. My goal is to help students become expressive, technically strong, and emotionally connected violin players.
