About Austin

"I am a violin teacher with 7 years of experience and hold a Bachelor of Music in Early Music Baroque Violin. I enjoy helping students build strong classical skills while exploring different musical styles. Every lesson is planned to match the student's goals, interests, and level.

My teaching focuses on bowing technique, vibrato, phrasing, and expressive interpretation. I believe good technique should always support musical expression rather than replace it. One student gained much more confidence after improving bow control, which made their performances sound smoother and more natural.

I also help students prepare for graded exams and guide them through ensemble playing with confidence. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced player, I adapt lessons to suit your learning style and pace. I look forward to helping you enjoy the violin, build lasting skills, and grow as a confident musician."

About the lesson

"I believe every violin student learns best with patience, clear guidance, and regular practice. My lessons focus on building strong technique while making music enjoyable and rewarding. We begin with posture, bow control, and good hand position to create a solid foundation.

Rhythm precision is part of every lesson because steady timing makes every performance stronger. We also work on ear training and music reading to help students become confident musicians. Ensemble skills are developed through listening exercises and playing with accompaniment so students learn to perform with others.

Creative improvisation is included to help students become more expressive and comfortable with their instrument. Classical repertoire is introduced step by step, allowing students to build technique while understanding musical style. I often ask students to imagine telling a story through their violin because it brings more feeling to every performance.

Some learners use violin to strengthen clear expression and confident communication through sound. Others return to music later in life and enjoy seeing their confidence grow with every lesson. Small goals and regular feedback make progress easier to notice and celebrate.

Practice routines are simple, realistic, and easy to follow at home. My goal is to help every student play with confidence, accuracy, and genuine musical expression."
