About Charoline
Bowing technique and left-hand agility are the foundation of my practice. I earned a BM Music Performance degree in Fiddle from Belmont University to ground my craft. My teaching relies on oral tradition where tunes are learned by listening and ornamentation by imitation. I have guided grade exam candidates and teens through complex classical repertoire.
Experienced classical players often come to me when they need to loosen up their style. Working professionals and returning learners find my approach refreshing and direct. I have taught over 500 students during my 11 years of experience.
Teaching is a deeply rewarding endeavor for me. I enjoy seeing students develop a genuine connection to their instrument.

Do you wonder how to truly internalize music by ear? Transcribing from old recordings serves as our primary practice method for every session. We work through orchestral playing and sight reading at your pace.
You will master shifting positions and vibrato with precision. Listen and imitate. It works perfectly.
