About Gabriella
I’m a classically trained violinist with over 20 years of playing experience and a strong foundation in classical technique and repertoire. My teaching approach is influenced by the Suzuki method and focuses on developing essential skills including proper technique, intonation, bow control, music reading, and musical expression.
I believe strong fundamentals are the foundation for confident playing, but I also believe students progress best when they’re genuinely excited about the music they’re learning. Lessons are tailored to each student’s individual goals, learning style, and musical interests while maintaining a structured approach to developing technique and musicianship.
My own love for the violin has been shaped by expressive classical repertoire, particularly Romantic-era composers such as Tchaikovsky, Dvořák, and Mendelssohn. As a teacher, my goal is to give students the technical foundation and confidence they need to grow as musicians while fostering a lasting enjoyment of playing the violin.

Private Violin Lessons | 20+ Years of Experience | Beginners Welcome!
Hi! I’m a violinist with over 20 years of playing experience, offering private violin lessons for students ages 10 and up, from complete beginners to those looking to strengthen their existing skills.
I believe learning violin should be both rewarding and enjoyable. My lessons are personalized to each student’s goals, learning style, musical interests, and pace. If you’ve never played an instrument before, that’s completely okay — no prior violin or musical experience is necessary!
What You Can Expect From Lessons:
Strong violin fundamentals — posture, bowing, intonation, rhythm, scales, technique, and more
Music you enjoy — lessons can incorporate songs and musical styles that interest you alongside classical technique and repertoire
Personalized instruction — lessons are adapted to your individual goals, strengths, learning style, and pace
Practice guidance — clear, manageable practice plans so you know exactly what to work on between lessons
Goal & progress tracking — we’ll set achievable milestones and build on your skills as you progress
Performance preparation — support for students preparing for orchestra, auditions, recitals, or other performances
Help for complete beginners — I can also help you navigate choosing or renting a violin if you don't have an instrument yet
