About Opal
Practicing alone often leads to repeating the same mistakes without realizing it. I provide recorded playback of tricky passages for home practice so that you can hear exactly what is happening during your individual sessions. Because I am a Voice graduate from UdeM, my understanding of phrasing is deeply rooted in melodic lines. We will spend time on music theory to ensure that you are not just playing notes but understanding the architecture of the piece.
Kids and grade exam candidates benefit from this structured approach to learning the instrument. My 9 years of experience allow me to identify technical hurdles quickly so we can resolve them together. This method ensures that you progress steadily toward your goals as a musician.
