About Daniel
I am a New York–based violist and Suzuki educator, maintaining a private studio in Manhattan. I hold a Master’s degree from the Manhattan School of Music and pursued advanced studies at the Paris Conservatoire.
My performing career has included work as a soloist, principal violist, and chamber musician across the United States, Europe, and Latin America. This active engagement as a performer informs my teaching at every level.
Having fully completed Suzuki Teacher Training, I work with students from beginner through advanced pre-conservatory and conservatory study. My approach emphasizes technical discipline, musical maturity, and sustained artistic development.

Lessons take place at the National Opera Center in Midtown Manhattan and follow a structured, disciplined approach to viola study.
Instruction is individualized while maintaining clear technical and musical standards. For younger students, lessons follow the Suzuki philosophy with strong emphasis on posture, tone production, listening, and consistent home practice, with active parent involvement expected.
Advanced students engage in repertoire development, technical refinement, and preparation for pre-conservatory and conservatory study. Emphasis is placed on consistency, artistic maturity, and long-term growth.
