About María
I have a master's degree in viola at Musikene. I started studying music at age 8 and have studied viola since then and piano for a few years.
I have worked with orchestras such as the Euskadi Symphony Orchestra and the Bilbao Symphony Orchestra, as well as collaborating with the Orchestra and Choir of the Community of Madrid.
In addition, I have been part of young orchestras such as the Youth Symphony Orchestra of Castilla y León and the Avila Symphony Orchestra; and I am currently a reserve member of the European Union Youth Orchestra (EUYO).
I have a great vocation for teaching and want to share my knowledge with others.

I can teach viola classes at all levels, and violin to students below Bachelor. I can also teach music theory at all levels and support the study of other subjects taught at the conservatory, such as music history, analysis, orchestra, chamber music, etc.
I believe that the teacher must be able to adapt a lot to the student, and especially in music I find it very important to understand the sensitivity and difficulties of each student. I consider myself a demanding person, but very empathetic and patient.
It is very important to me, aside from all the factors that affect the performance, to emphasize the care of the posture and the tensions of the body to avoid injuries that can be caused by playing the viola or the violin.
