About Mohammad

At heart, I am a lifelong learner. I am drawn to ideas, to questions that do not have easy answers, and to classrooms that feel alive. If my work opens up even one student’s mind to a new way of thinking, I consider that a success.

I have always believed that literature does not just inform, it transforms. It gives us the tools to understand the world with empathy, to question deeply, and to think clearly. My journey as an educator began with that simple truth and has since evolved into a full-fledged commitment to academic excellence and innovation.

With First Class degrees in BA (Hons) English, MA English, and MPhil, I have developed a strong foundation in literary studies. I am currently pursuing a doctorate that explores the intersection between literature and artificial intelligence—two fields that, though distant at first glance, reveal unexpected common ground in how meaning is constructed.

In my role as Assistant Professor and Head of Department, I have designed interdisciplinary curricula, mentored research, and worked with learners from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds. One of my curriculum frameworks was recently adopted as a model across departments for its innovative blend of literature, technology, and creative thinking. I bring a mix of classical training and modern insight to every classroom, striving to make literature and language relevant, exciting, and intellectually rigorous.
