About Dylan
I am a vocal teacher with over 7 years of experience. I teach students from schools, colleges, and workplaces. I have taught about 300 learners across diverse ages and abilities. Many have achieved high marks in exams, won competitions, and performed with confidence. Some have moved into professional music careers. My teaching philosophy centers on care, inspiration, customized learning, and analytical thinking. I believe every voice has unique qualities. My role is to help students discover and nurture those qualities in a motivating environment. I tailor lessons to each student's goals and learning style. I focus on breath control, pitch, tone, and vocal health. I also teach ear training, theory, performance, and interpretation. I support students through challenges with patience and practical strategies. I celebrate every achievement. I am proud of my students' growth and self-assurance. My goal is to inspire a lifelong love of singing and help each student find their unique voice.

My teaching approach for singing is built on four foundations: care, inspiration, customized learning, and logical analysis. I believe singing is a powerful form of personal communication and emotional release. My aim is to help students uncover their real voice while establishing dependable technical skills in a supportive and non-judgmental setting. Care is at the core of my work. I know singing can make students feel exposed. I create a safe environment where they feel free to explore, make errors, and progress. I am gentle and always recognize their effort and determination. Inspiration is what drives students to stay committed. I select music they connect with and set realistic short-term targets. I celebrate every success, whether it is mastering a difficult phrase or performing with greater assurance. I make sure students recognize their progress to keep them motivated. Customized learning ensures each student receives effective instruction. Some learn by listening and imitating, others by reading music, and some by understanding theory first. I adapt to each student's preferred learning method, making lessons more effective and enjoyable. Logical analysis helps students handle challenges independently. When difficulties arise with pitch, breathing, or performance anxiety, I teach them to evaluate the problem and create solutions. We work through issues systematically and find what works. This develops autonomy and self-belief. My curriculum includes a wide range of singing subjects. Vocal technique is the foundation, covering breath support, alignment, tone production, vowel clarity, and vocal function. I use safe exercises to develop power, flexibility, and control. Ear training is included to improve pitch and listening skills through interval practice and harmony work. Music theory covers rhythm, key signatures, and structure to support independent learning. Performance skills address stage presence, emotional connection, and anxiety management. Song interpretation is essential, helping students understand lyrics and use dynamics and tone to express meaning. Vocal health is always included with warm-ups, cooldowns, and fatigue awareness. Diction and articulation are addressed for different languages. Improvisation and style exploration are also taught. Each lesson has a clear structure with warm-ups, technical exercises, repertoire work, and review. I use recordings for self-evaluation and adjust goals based on regular assessment. My aim is to produce confident, expressive, and technically skilled singers.
