About Walter

I am a dedicated singing tutor with a bachelor’s degree in music and over 7 years of experience working with vocalists of all ages and skill levels. My journey with music began at an early age, and over time, it evolved into a passion for teaching others how to explore and strengthen their voices. I believe that everyone has a unique sound, and I take pride in helping students find and refine theirs through thoughtful, personalised instruction. Throughout my teaching career, I’ve worked with beginners discovering their voice for the first time, as well as experienced singers preparing for performances, auditions, or competitions. I approach each lesson with patience and adaptability, making sure every student feels supported and understood. My goal is to create a positive, motivating environment where learning feels both enjoyable and productive. My areas of specialisation include tone clarity, breath control, vocal range development, and performance readiness. I also incorporate musical interpretation and expression into my lessons, helping students connect emotionally with the music they sing. In addition to technical improvement, I emphasise vocal health and longevity, ensuring that students build skills they can rely on for years to come. What I enjoy most about teaching is witnessing the growth in my students—not only vocally, but in confidence, creativity, and presence. It’s a privilege to guide others on their musical journey and to see how music can transform not just voices, but lives. Through a mix of vocal exercises, guided warm-ups, and song interpretation, you’ll learn how to support your voice properly, sing with control, and express emotion effectively. Lessons often incorporate songs from genres you enjoy—pop, classical, musical theatre, or contemporary—to keep the learning both relevant and enjoyable. With 7 years of experience and a bachelor’s degree in music, I emphasise healthy vocal techniques to ensure long-term voice sustainability. I provide real-time, constructive feedback to help you grow steadily, and we work on developing your ear, diction, and musicality. Lessons are progressive, interactive, and structured with clear goals so you always know what you're working towards. These sessions are more than technical training—they're about building your confidence as a performer and communicator. Whether you're preparing for a performance, auditioning, or simply want to sing with more freedom and joy, my goal is to help you connect with your voice and use it with expression and assurance.
