About Charms
After spending time on the road playing festivals, I realized that my voice was the most important instrument I owned. Having earned a BA Ethnomusicology at UCLA, I approach singing through a lens of cultural tradition and technical accuracy. I help students navigate the nuances of sight singing and harmony singing while managing stage fear.
We also focus on tone, resonance, and vibrato control to ensure your voice remains healthy. Diction and articulation are vital components of the work I do with performers. My goal is to make these concepts accessible and clear for you. I try to keep the atmosphere relaxed and steady for every student.

Singing well is rarely about forcing a sound and is often about clearing the path for the body to resonate naturally. Beginners often find that the most subtle adjustments to posture yield the biggest changes in projection and tone.
With 6 years of experience, I guide advanced learners through the complexities of exam preparation and stage confidence. My background in Ethnomusicology informs how I help you find your unique vocal character.
