About King
Since I work with hobbyists, teens, and returning learners, I find myself thinking often about the mechanics of a great performance. My background as a Nashville session player influences how I teach singers to find their natural edge. I hold a Diploma in Music Performance from Musicians Institute Hollywood. My 13 years of experience taught me how to keep lessons friendly and focused on the groove.
I have guided 191 students through the process of finding their own unique sound. We strip away the unnecessary tension so you can focus on the music itself. The goal is to make your voice work for the song rather than against it. It is just about finding the right path for your voice

Singing is fundamentally about honest communication. I focus on breathing control and pitch control to ensure you feel secure while performing. We treat warm up exercises as the foundation for your range extension and head or chest voice transitions.
You might find that belting technique becomes easier when you stop overthinking the physical mechanics. I prioritize rhythm and phrasing to help you tell the story of the song. Vibrato control and performance confidence are built through repetition and deliberate practice.
My 13 years of experience means I have seen every vocal hurdle you might encounter. My degree from Musicians Institute Hollywood informs the way I break down complex theory into singable parts. You can feel the difference when your technique finally clicks into place
