About Sophie
Performing on stage for years gave me a deep understanding of what creates a truly resonant voice. Teaching is not just about technique, it is about identifying the specific blocks that keep a singer from being heard clearly. I work extensively with grade exam candidates, teens, and hobbyists who want to see real progress.
My background includes an MMus Music Performance from the Curtis Institute of Music. I incorporate genre styling, stage fear management, and microphone technique into my work. I have helped many students master vibrato control and range extension over these 10 years. You will find that my approach is detail-oriented and very direct.

To kick things off, I conduct a diagnostic vocal assessment for every new student to map out your specific needs. This helps us focus on harmony singing and performance confidence right from the start.
Since I hold an MMus Music Performance from the Curtis Institute of Music, I bring a high level of academic rigor to your practice. We focus on practical adjustments so you can hear the change in your tone immediately. I guide you through the complexities of musical theater or pop styling without any wasted effort. You will get clear feedback on your vibrato and your breath support in every single encounter.
My process relies on clear communication and building your skills one step at a time. Your voice will finally reflect the musicality you have been aiming for all along.
