About Cathleen
Teaching started for me because I wanted to share what actually functions inside a crowded audition room. Standing under hot stage lights while trying to keep your larynx neutral is a specific challenge that requires intentional practice. After 12 years of performing across NYC and various national tours, I have refined my focus toward practical longevity.
I hold a BFA in Musical Theater from NYU Tisch School of the Arts and have worked with countless singers looking for clarity. Do you know where your own vocal blind spots are hiding?
My practice covers vocal health and care alongside range extension and consistent pitch control. We spend time on rhythm and phrasing while preparing for high stakes exams or auditions. Whether you need harmony singing skills, performance confidence, or specific microphone technique, I provide the tools to build your set. I also offer free access to my breathing and warm up exercise notes for all students.
