About Emily Rose
I am a vocal performance major at UIUC. I will be going into my second year of undergrad and have been studying voice for over 5 years. I have performed in competitions and have won scholarships and awards. I have tutored younger students successfully and wish to help other experience the beauty of singing classically.

I teach my students specifically to what they want to learn and how they learn. I do not believe in punishment or negative consequences in learning. I will praise even the most struggling student. Students will only want to learn if they feel they can and are making progress. In beginning voice lessons, it’s my job to see they improve — it is not their job to try it figure out what I am telling them. Students should just enjoy what singing gives them.
