About Ainsley
My piano teaching methodology emphasizes body awareness, calm focus, and expressive control. With 8 years of piano teaching experience and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Piano Studies, I approach music as both an art and a mindful practice. I integrate relaxation and mindfulness techniques into lessons, helping students cultivate calm focus and ease at the keyboard. Playing the piano becomes a space for presence, reflection, and personal growth.
I work closely with students to manage stage anxiety, using breathing exercises, visualization, and gentle pacing to build confidence. My teaching style is rooted in encouragement, patience, and attention to each learner’s individual journey. I especially enjoy guiding adults who seek wellness, creativity, and balance through music.
Lessons emphasize not just technical skill but expressive connection. I help students develop body awareness, relaxed hand posture, and fluid movement, ensuring playing feels natural and sustainable. Each session invites curiosity, play, and mindful listening.
