About Talia

My singing teaching approach focuses on rhythm as the heart of great vocal performance. I use rhythm-based techniques to help students improve timing, energy, and groove. Together, we explore important topics like syncopation, beat subdivision, and rhythmic phrasing across styles such as gospel, funk, and jazz. For those who connect deeply through movement and feel, I incorporate exercises that blend body awareness with vocal rhythm. This helps unlock natural flow and emotional expression in singing. If you learn best by tapping into creative instincts or using rhythm to guide your voice, my lessons will feel intuitive and freeing. We work on breaking down complex rhythms into manageable parts, making tricky grooves easier to master. I encourage playful experimentation so you can find your unique voice within different genres. Whether you’re starting fresh or blending styles, I support your growth with patience and personalized guidance. My goal is to help you feel confident and connected to the music from the inside out. About the lesson

I’m a passionate piano tutor with 5 years of experience and a Bachelor of Arts in Music with a Piano Emphasis. I specialize in making piano learning accessible, joyful, and personally meaningful for students of all ages. Whether you're just starting or returning to music after a break, I create a supportive space where growth and creativity flourish. I have a strong background working with diverse learners, including students with ADHD and other learning differences. I believe every student learns differently—and that’s something to celebrate, not overcome. My lessons adapt to individual needs using movement-based activities, colorful visual aids, and fun interactive apps that keep learning engaging and focused. We explore rhythm through clapping games, use storytelling to connect with music, and incorporate technology to make practicing feel like play. My teaching is flexible, playful, and rooted in understanding how each student learns best. I love helping students build not only their technique but also their confidence and joy in music.
