About Elissa
Elissa has over 9 years of vocal experience and 16 years of comprehensive musical experience. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Opera Performance from the University of British Columbia
This past summer, Elissa covered the role of Lepido in Handel’s Silla at Chicago Summer Opera. Her previous summer engagements include performing as Susanna in excerpts from Mozart’s Le Nozze di Figaro at both the Taos Opera Institute in Taos, New Mexico, and Opera Viva in Verona, Italy.
Though her specialty is classical music, Elissa enjoys all genres and is committed to helping her students discover and grow in the styles they love most.

My goal is to create a positive, supportive environment that fosters learning and improvement. I teach the same way I was taught with a strong emphasis on efficient technique to encourage a safe, healthy way of singing. I also make sure that singing continues to be something that is always fun and remains a source of joy!
