Perfect! My first voice lesson with Alice went very well. Alice was able to point out areas where my technique could be improved with tips on breathing and projecting my voice that I will be able to put into practice right away and also gave me some exercises that I can work on to help me overall. I’m looking forward to the next lesson.

Perfect! I had a lot of nerves going into my lesson with Alice. This was my first ever vocal lesson and I felt all the things: excitement, eagerness, silliness, fear and unease. I felt slightly panicked up until the moment Alice hopped on the call and her sunshiney personality seeped right into my home. Like a bubble of only the brightest energy , Alice wasted no time squashing my rising panic with her easy-going and charismatic demeanor. She took the time to assess my current knowledge (which didnt take long seeing as i have 0 experience: )) and dove into the basics of singing fundamentals. She used visual demonstrations along with videos to explain anatomy/phisiology and why we need to hold certain posture and use particular breathing techniques when singing. She quickly dispelled false information I had come to hear as well as provide clarity on topics I was only vaguely accustomed to. She excelled at balancing being a cheerleader to put me at ease with also not being afraid to step in when I required more guidance with the few exercises we did. We covered a lot of information in the short time we had during our intro session, yet I did not feel overwhelmed. No, I felt excited, invigorated, alive. Alice made me feel like it really is possible to go from a weak and nervous Nelly to a powerful, unshakable force. I cannot wait to see what is possible through Alice.

Perfect! Her methodology was simply sooooo much better than the YouTube videos. YouTube just kinda says, sing this with me. While Alice didn't just let me wing singing. We broke down what it means to sing well, which is relaxed with a focus on actually singing the correct notes. While a YouTube vid is just assuming ur good at kinda singing and somehow with this lack of skill hitting correct pitches no problem. Absolutely stellar, and the, be relaxed, theme of our lesson is surprisingly well timed for what's happening in my life right now. Thank you Alice, you helped me more than you know.
