About Niranjan

Hi, I'm Coach Niranjan. I was on court as a referee for the men's gold medal match at the Sydney 2000 Olympics, and I've spent 20+ years coaching since.

I'm a former semi-pro player in Italy, State League MVP and winning coach, and National League coach in Australia.

I've helped beginner athletes earn college offers, and I have coaching connections with college programs. Rated 5 stars by local families.

About the lesson

I coach boys and girls aged 12-30, from first-time beginners to competitive players preparing for club, high school, college and pro programs.

Every session starts with where you or your child is today and what's needed for the next level. You'll get clear feedback, one or two specific things to fix, and progress you can see on court. I can also guide athletes on how to approach college coaches and what recruiters look for.

1:1 and small-group sessions available. Based in Dublin, serving Pleasanton, Livermore, San Ramon and nearby Bay Area communities. Message me to book a first session.

Perfect! We had a fantastic experience working with Coach Niranjan! He provided one-on-one volleyball lessons for my son and was incredibly patient, encouraging, and knowledgeable. From the very first session, it was clear that he genuinely cared about my son's growth-not just as a player, but as a person. He took the time to explain techniques clearly, gave thoughtful feedback, and always created a supportive environment that built both skills and confidence. What stood out the most was his commitment beyond the court-offering helpful guidance and motivation even outside of the lessons. I highly recommend Coach Niranjan to any family looking for a dedicated and inspiring volleyball coach!

Perfect! Coach Niranjan is excellent at paying attention to basics and he helped me correct my basics skills first. He also helped me with flexibility exercise for better movement. I would recommend Coach Niranjan to anyone looking to start from beginning or improve their already acquired skills

Taking my daughter to be coached by Niranjan for volleyball has been a phenomenal experience. Before this, she had never played volleyball except for trying it out during her freshman year in high school. Finding Niranjan as her coach was a game-changer. I can confidently say I’ve seen significant improvement and development in her skills, she’s learned techniques and strategies she never knew before.

What truly stands out about Niranjan is how attentively he evaluates every move. Whether it’s a spike, serve, or set, he identifies mistakes and immediately works on correcting them. He focuses on technique, builds confidence, and helps his players feel comfortable while learning and adapting.

Over the past two months under Niranjan’s coaching, my daughter has grown immensely. Compared to where she started in high school, she’s now far more skilled and confident on the court. The difference in her progress under Niranjan versus her high school coach is night and day.

I highly recommend Niranjan as a volleyball coach and give him a well-deserved 5-star rating. He’s truly made a lasting impact.
