About Daniel
I am currently a masters degree student in the field of data science which uses a-lot of mathematical/statistical methods in conjunction to programming to process numerical data. This means I have a grounded understanding in several computer languages and software as well as in mathematical theories.
I have a passion for spreading coding competency since many industries are becoming automated and coding is becoming like the English language in many sectors and hence would like to invigorate the next generation. I enjoy walking as it allows me to clear my mind and engage with new ideas and I am a former air cadet (ATC) member.
I have used Python on countless occasions to compute mathematical functions and perform matrix related calculations and to verify results from core mathematical fields including: linear algebra, number theory and complex analysis allowing your understanding to be cemented.

I am a flexible teacher who would employ an approach of theory and mini project based works to ensure both a solid understanding of core mathematical techniques and the Python programming language used in many industries both scientific and creative. Each week a task will be assigned based on the theory work covered in the lesson and discussed in the following lesson. During a lesson, I would present core concepts on a topic and ask some questions to gauge understanding.
I would combine both coding and exam style mathematics questions to ensure competency in both areas. The lesson would be 1-2hr long depending on the individual students needs and would be tailored appropriately to ability and age. I have an undergraduate degree in physics at 1st honours level and undertook solo and group projects ensuring my ability to present.
My lessons are available for a wide range-of ages including: GCSE, A-level and undergraduate mathematics/physics/coding/statistics. I look forward to hearing from you and becoming your mentor in traversing the path of coding and maths.
