About Raphaëlle

I teach since 2016. I mainly taught French to Anglo-Saxon adults and children, but also theatre, singing and dancing.

My students were all very happy with my classes. A mom wrote to me after her daughter had an exam: "My daughter received her results and they are much better than we expected.Thank you so much for your help.She said that she would like to continue taking classes with you."

An adult student with whom I was doing conversation left me this review on an English site equivalent to Superprof: "Our lessons are always constructive and Raphaelle has helped me already with my conversational french, she has also been very open in offering me good French books to read and music to listen to. The lesson is relaxed and yet I am already building my confidence with the language. Raphaelle`s sheets she puts together are also very helpful."

Finally, another adult student left the following review: "Raphaëlle provided the perfect platform to improve my French. My main goal was to accumulate conversational hours, and Raphaëlle provided lots of opportunities to speak freely during our lessons, while pausing to offer feedback at regular intervals. About the lesson

I offer private lessons or for small groups, for children and adults, beginner or advanced, conversation or grammar focused learning. I give every lesson with a smile and in a relaxed manner - it's the most effective way to learn!

During the six and a half years I lived in London and studied there, I built my experience as a private teacher and perfected the development of my classes.

Conversation classes are very relaxed. We discuss selected topics or everyday life, with vocabulary and grammar sheets at hand if the student turns out to be making recurring mistakes.

As for the courses oriented in more detail towards grammar learning, I try to make them pleasant by starting with an exchange in English on the everyday life (What the student has done since our last lesson - does he like the book he reads?), then a large part of the lesson focuses on a grammatical point and its application to writing as well as speaking. Finally the lesson ends with another relaxed discussion or questions that the student may have. Of course, each course is designed to match each student, and the first lesson includes a discussion of the goals, needs, and expectations of the student or parents.
