About Dane
I am a guitarist with several years of experience. I gig around my state, playing ripping solos on one stage and chill jazz on another. I am in several bands in which we have created long-spanning progressive rock songs in which we challenge ourselves into odd time signatures and difficult keys. I have previous teaching experience in programs like Read Better Be Better.

n my tutoring, I will teach you how to play your favorite songs. Do you love Green Day? Then lets learn Basket Case! Do you love Paramore? Then lets learn Misery Business! Do you love a random unheard of song by an underground band called "Slow Rats of the Bad Writing Software?" Then lets give it a listen and then play it together. You'll join my session and tell me what you've been listening to, and why you want to learn it. Then, we'll listen to it, break down the songs structure, and then together, we'll work through it. We'll play the chords, get a feel for the rhythm. And by the end, you'll be able to rock that song just like the band who made it. This isn't just a tablature reading, it's a full understanding of the structure of songwriting, and the precise skill to write it. I ask that the students signing up have at least six to eight months of guitar practice. Bass is also welcome.
