About Nadya

I have been in love with English since middle school. In 2012, I knew that I had to be an English tutor. In 2015 I joined pre-service teacher training held by US Embassy. The knowledge and experiences I got there made me confident to start my private classes and taught at school in 2016. I have taught students from different levels. For me, teaching English is more than just transferring the knowledge, it is the collections of goals of students which I help to achieve. From 2017 to 2020 I have been a part of an English course where I designed and evaluated the curriculum of the programs. I learn a lot from those experiences. That is why every time I have English classes, I will prepare the lesson, as well as the assessment very well. For me, the course will not be just me teaching and students learning, but there must be goals that we are going to achieve, and there will be assessment to measure the achievements of the goals. I can't wait to discuss more with you.

About the lesson

I always start class by understanding the needs of the students I will teach, discussing our goals at the beginning of the lesson, and telling him what he will get, and what will support these goals being achieved. I don't want the students I teach to set too high and much expectations, but I need them to believe in their abilities and believe in me so that our goals can be achieved. After knowing the needs and goals of these students, then I will apply the best methodology so that the needs and goals of these students can be met. Does this mean that each student will have a different methodology? Of course. Because this is a private class - not a class that contains a large number of students - a very specific and special treatment for the students is needed.
