About Alba

Hola! I’m Alba, a native Spanish tutor from Spain with a degree in English Studies and over four years of teaching experience. I’ve had the pleasure of working with both children and adults, helping them develop their confidence and fluency in Spanish. My background in education includes working with students of different learning styles and abilities, including those with special educational needs (SEN). This experience has taught me to be patient, understanding, and adaptable — qualities that I bring to every lesson. As a teacher, I always aim to create a safe and encouraging space where you can make mistakes, ask questions, and learn at your own pace. I take great care in preparing my lessons and materials to ensure that every class is well-structured, engaging, and meaningful. Whether you’re a beginner or looking to improve your conversation skills, I’m here to support you every step of the way. With me, you’ll not only learn Spanish — you’ll enjoy the journey.

About the lesson

In my classes, I focus on creating a positive, relaxed, and engaging environment where students feel confident to express themselves in Spanish from the very beginning. I believe that learning a language should be both useful and enjoyable, so I adapt each lesson to my students’ interests, goals, and learning style. My teaching combines communicative activities, real-life conversations, and structured grammar practice. I use games, visual aids, stories, and role-plays with children, while for adults I often include cultural topics, current events, or practical scenarios like travel and work situations. Lessons typically last 50–60 minutes, but I can also offer shorter sessions for children or beginners. I have a degree in English Philology and more than four years of experience teaching students with a wide range of needs and abilities, including those with special educational needs (SEN). This background has helped me develop a patient, flexible, and inclusive teaching style. My lessons are suitable for children, teenagers, and adults at beginner, intermediate, or conversational levels — anyone who wants to improve their Spanish in a friendly and supportive space.
