An experienced teacher of Reading and Math, I love working with kids, and I’m committed to helping every student discover what they’re capable of. My approach begins with meeting students exactly where they are and helping them grow with confidence and curiosity. Every child learns differently, and my goal is to create a space where they feel supported, capable, and genuinely excited to learn.

When students feel safe to try, explore, and make mistakes without fear, they build stronger foundations and become more confident, independent learners. I’ve developed a deep understanding of how to reach students at their level and help them thrive.

About the lesson

As a former middle and high school English teacher with over ten years of experience in private, corporate tutoring companies, I’ve had the privilege of helping students of all ages grow into confident, capable learners. I believe every child deserves a teacher who sees their potential, meets them exactly where they are, and helps them take the next step with confidence.

My approach is warm, patient, and encouraging. I focus on building strong foundations in reading, writing, and math while also nurturing curiosity and a genuine love of learning. Mistakes are never something to fear in my sessions — they’re opportunities. When students feel safe to try, explore, and ask questions, they learn faster and believe in themselves more deeply.
I teach with the mindset that mistakes are not setbacks—they’re essential steps in the learning process. When students aren’t afraid to make mistakes, they become braver thinkers, stronger problem‑solvers, and more independent learners.
