About Katarina
I am a current student mentor and tutor across North London schools for GCSE maths, English, and social sciences. I have a background in GCSE and A-Level maths teaching and trained with the Coventry SCITT. I have an academic background with an MA in Education Policy and Sociology from UCL and BSc in Economics and Politics from Warwick University. I am excited to expand my tutoring skills with 1-1 training and subjects beyond what I currently tutor in. I love designing lesson plans and helping students gain subject confidence. I hope to help you gain skills and find joy in the subjects that I enjoy.

I will work with students to develop a multi-lesson plan focusing on student achievement and improvement checkpoints. This includes practice exercises and lessons which hone in on student needs relating to their exam board or in-class curriculum. With my experience working at A-level and GCSE level in UK schools across multiple exam boards, I am well equipped to tailor lesson plans and pedagogy to students' strengths, learning styles, and needs.
