About Kirill
I'm Kirill, a first-year Economics student at the University of Warwick, where I'm on track for a First. Before that, I studied at D'Overbroeck's in Oxford, where I got A* in Economics, A in Maths and Further Maths.
Teaching came naturally to me — I spent two years as a teaching assistant for the Economics Society at my sixth form, helping over half the year group get to grips with a subject I genuinely love. Seeing something click for someone is a better feeling than getting the answer yourself.
I tutor because I remember exactly what it's like to find Economics abstract and disconnected from real life — and I know how to bridge that gap. I'm patient, direct, and I won't waste your time going over things you already know.

My lessons are structured but flexible, always built around what you actually need.
We start with a quick check-in — what's unclear, what's coming up, what you've been stuck on. Then we work through the topic together: I explain it, we connect it to a real-world example, and you try an exam question yourself. I don't just talk at you — I want to see how you think.
Every lesson ends with a clear focus for next time so progress is consistent.
For Economics specifically, I focus on exam technique as much as content — knowing the theory isn't enough if you can't structure a 25-mark essay or hit the evaluation marks. We use past papers and mark schemes throughout, not just at the end.
