About KAREN
I am a retired woman whose career was in the international film industry. I used my writing skills to create effective and concise business letters, using the same principles as I learned to use in essay writing.
The largest film distributor/exhibitor in Colombia, Cine Colombia, hired me to correct the English in a locally translated edition of a book about the company's history. It required correcting the text into correct English syntax and grammar, and hyphenating words properly when they needed to be broken between two lines of text.

2. I can teach exactly how paragraphs in an essay should be ordered.
3. I can correct grammatical errors.
If a student submits an essay, I can provide specific guidance for improvement. Or, if a student is stumped as to how to write an essay, I can provide step-by-step guidance.
Once anyone understands the underlying principles of essay writing, he/she will have that skill for the rest of their life.
