About Jennifer
Hello! I’m a certified educator with more than 30 years of experience helping children learn, grow, and believe in themselves. I hold a master’s degree in Science Education and certifications in Early Childhood Education, PK–6, and 4–8 Science.
I specialize in early literacy, the Science of Reading, and elementary science. My lessons are encouraging, engaging, and tailored to each student’s individual needs. I use hands-on activities, real-world connections, and clear step-by-step instruction to make learning meaningful and fun.
I believe every child can succeed with the right support—and that every child is a scientist! My goal is to build your child’s skills, confidence, and genuine love of learning.

I believe that we learn best when several learning styles are used to communicate an idea. There will be hands-on learning with materials from around your house. There will also be topic talks, to see where understanding breaks down. I can also provide activities to be done at home.
